AN EXCEPTIONAL VINEYARD NEAR SAINT-ÉMILION
Just a stone’s throw from Castelmoron-d’Albret, the smallest village in France, and conveniently located near Saint-Émilion and Bordeaux, Château Latour-Monplaisir is deep in the historic lands of Saint-Martin-du-Puy. More than just a vineyard, it is a place where history, terroir, and craftsmanship come together to create something truly exceptional.
This 30-hectare estate, classified under AOC Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur, centers around a 14th-century château, a stunning architectural gem surrounded by English-style gardens and vineyards cultivated in harmony with nature. Our Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carménère, and Sémillon vines flourish here.
THE HERITAGE OF A PRESTIGIOUS TERROIR
Once the residence of Henri IV d'Albret, this historic site sits atop a seam of asteriated limestone dating back 32 million years, similar to the esteemed Grands Crus of Saint-Émilion. Benefiting from a unique microclimate shaped by its proximity to the ocean, it is here that nature and human expertise converge. This harmony gives rise to wines that are both generous and refined, crafted with passion by our winemaker.

Honoring generations of expertise passed down since the 15th century, it pays tribute to the visionary men and women who have preserved and enriched the estate. Over time, the estate has continually reinvented itself in response to an ever-changing world, all while staying true to the excellence of its terroir.
